Weather wasn't optimal today but we still managed to have fun.
Loaded up everyone in the car to head out to brunch and had some killer eggs benedict, cinnamon rolls, and more.
Then we got a tour around Austin - including the Graffiti Garden - and went to Barton Springs to try and take a dip.
But the weather was dicey and the springs were closed, so we just viewed the river and Zilker Park under questionable skies. Daniel said it wouldn't rain but it did. We found shelter at a picnic area and waited out the rain.
Later the skies cleared a bit so Dads took the kids down to the pool at Ramsey Park (block and a half from the house). Great way to celebrate.
Grant & Henry had their dinner a bit early but entertained us none the less.
Wendy slaved over the grill to get the asparagus just right - and they were.
Daniel & Katharine gave us quite a spread with salmon and Wendy's favorite orzo, tomato, cuke, feta, and lemon pasta salad. Gonna be hard to leave tomorrow but the show must go on and we've got many miles left on our adventure.
