D-Day is when?

So tree's still not done - down but not gone. Hoping they'd be out of the way before construction begins.
Had the dumpster delivered on Friday so we'd be ready for Monday morning start. 30% chance of rain on Monday but team wants to come rip off the roof. Should be interesting.

Family night before beginning was spent watching Young Frankenstein. Wife, kids, and Spot should take off in the morning for Lake Lanier & Close Quarters to avoid the chaos.

As the sun rose, rain chances were higher. So Tony & foreman Dieter came down and said they wanted to wait until Tuesday. I had suggested them not removing the roof but cutting the roof about 4 feet from the gutters and then framing 2x10s through those openings. That would keep majority of roof intact in case heavy rains came. They thought it better to wait until Tuesday instead of complicating demo.

So they introduced me to the demo/framing/roofing lead, Pedro, and then spent an hour or so walking him through the plans. Disappointed? Sure. One day delay isn't the end of the world though. Tuesday the 4th will work.
