So Tuesday it is?

No rain Monday, of course. Now Tuesday is forecasted for rain. Family heads out for Lake Lanier and I get a phone call saying they're going to delay again - just in case. First thing Wednesday, they'll be here to start demolition.

Meanwhile I've pulled up all the planks in the attic with Deacon's help and had the old insulation sucked out
by the insulation company. Also, Lou Edy (electrician) has set up a new electrical service from the street and

converted our old fuse box into a 20 amp circuit breaker box. He just needs to get a few things done for the inspector to sign off. Then Georgia Power will come out and switch over to the new service.

Plan was to have 2x10s (required for plumbing by code) sistered up with existing 2x8s to create the new
floor joists. Key here is getting those floor joists in so that Lou and Plumber Mike Reynolds can then run their trades. After electrical and plumbing is set, then they can put down decking and start framing walls and raising the ridge.
